This bag should be free. When I buy a Marc Jacobs bag for $1,200, they should package it in this shopping bag and it shouldn’t cost me any more than I’ve already spent. Like at a department store. But instead, this bag is $750!!!!! I don’t care if it’s leather, from afar you look like you are toting your stuff in a shopping bag. I know I save all my shopping bags for certain things like dry cleaning or a trip to the post office but would I spent $750 on a bag specifically for those errands? Do I seem like a moron? Cuz that’s the only ones who will buy this. It comes in silver metallic which is slightly better, but only slightly. At eLuxury.
I think this bag should cost money. Afterall, someone had to stamp Marc Jacobs on it and someone had to stitch it together, must have taken at least 30 minutes to make it. At the average rate of labor + overhead, they should charge $15 for the bag. That’s fair.
It looks like a gift-with-purchase you might receive at the cosmetics counter. I can’t imagine who in the world would pay $750 for that.
After a 10 hour day of taking crap on the job your site is a bright spot in my day. I couldn’t agree with you more. His bags have been horrible this season.
Pardon my description but this bag looks like its made in China. Its a bag that can easily be copied & will sell at $10 or even less. Not worth buying.
ugh, i totally agree & thought the same thing when i first saw it. so annoying.
Call me crazy, but I like this bag. Definitely not enough to spend $750 on it, but in person it is really well made. The leather is really soft, and the handles are really sturdy.
It’s definitely fun when Marc steps outside the box…

I know who would buy that though; those ppl who wanna look stylish but is really cheap. And yea that is sooo nylon! a shopping bag for 750 is absolutely outragous! I can get those probably for free at sumplace.
