Wild about Thomas Wylde

thomaswylde.jpg

Former model Paula Thomas has been a lot of things: Bond girl, Playboy model, Julian MacDonald’s muse and even CEO of his company. But the one thing she has never been is unfashionable. She continues that trend with her Thomas Wylde line. You might recognize the signature skulls from the heads and arms of Hollywood’s fashion elite (her skull print scarf was everywhere in the last year and Sienna Miller rocked a Thomas Wylde dress at the Academy Awards.) The Kings Cross Skull bag is not a typical bag for the Bag Snobs but it appeals to our rebellious side. The signature skull details are subtle enough where you won’t look like you’re trying too hard (Ahem. I’m talking to you Lindsey Lohan), but they add a nice rock ‘n roll twist to a classic shape and color. But buyer beware – Thomas sells her line in “limited capacity” only, and trust us, they go quickly! At Barneys for $2360.

  1. Oh I’m totally in love with that bag, it’s so young and trendy without being fashion-victimy, and that leather looks beauuutiful! Wish I could get it here (in NZ)…

  2. I am so not a rebel chick either, but I LOVE the Kings Cross Skull bag! If only it didn’t cost so much. I am digging the skull and crossbone thang which surprises even me. Mind you, I’m not sure if I’d want to carry that on a bag, but if someone presented it to me…I would certainly carry it.

  3. It’s unanimous. I’d give up all my GUCCI for that bag. The skulls are just the subversive touch my elegant, quasi-chic wardrobe demands.

  4. Totally out of my price range…I found a great handbag in Melbourne AU the name is Ethereal Eal, it’s made from eal skin which is as soft as leather it looks like the Miu Miu coffer bag but for a 10th of the price. The brand is theredqueen style is kind of rock and roll gothy..without the skulls and crosses.
