Tod’s Besonville in Patent

tods_besonvillepatent.jpg

OK, so I am a little obsessed with Tod’s Besonville but come on, you have to admit it is a practical, stylish and young bag that will live by your side for years and years. For Fall they are doing it in a slightly crackled distressed patent which makes it more urban and gives it snazziness for those that find this super functional bag a tad boring. There is one slight modification – there is an additional flap pocket on the side instead of a slit opening pocket. I personally like the slit opening for my cell but the flap has a magnetic closure so it still has easy access and is slightly more secure for phone, keys or bluetooth. Now the question is, how many of these can I have before it is officially considered overboard? I guess you change the words “of these” to bags and it is the same question. No such thing as too much money or too many bags (and yes there is such a thing as too skinny). At Saks for $1450.

  1. Wow, omg I love this bag. I must have a black patent leather bag ASAP. Bagsnob please tell me which are your favorites besides this one!!

  2. This is a good opportunity for me (young and unexperienced) to ask something of all you knowledgeable ladies that read (and write) this blog…

I really like all the black crinkle patent bags I’ve seen and was wondering if I bought a bag in that material if it would be something that I would be able to carry for several years (as long as the shape is classic I mean). It isn’t too trendy?

  3. I’ve always felt a bit young for the bensonville but this is just fab. Almost has a marc jacobs feel to it but is much more timeless and subtly stylish.

  4. this is a really nice bag, however what do you guys think about the Burberry Quilted Patent Leather Bag.

I think that one is so much nicer looking.
