I agree that hollywood cheapens brands like Hermes, etc. They do set the tone of “contemporary” fashion, not the luxury market. A birkin is not a beach bag, and should not be just because one can afford it. Chic as Kate Moss’s diaper bag, not chic as Eva’s beach tote.
