Breakfast With Philosophy

Last week I attended a Philosophy brunch in Dallas for the beauty obsessed, and when you combine food, beauty and a bunch of girls– you are guaranteed a great time!  Philosophy representatives discussed how their company began as a single product available only through a dermatologist called BioMedic. Cristina Carlino, the founder of BioMedic, saw a new need to serve her customers by creating a product the at didn’t have to be sold through a doctor but also offered great results; that’s when Philosophy was born.

Philosophy is a science based skin care line that offers a simplified way to care for your skin. Instead of a 10-step ritual every time you clean and moisturize your face, they offer 4 can’t live without basics! You start with a gentle cleanser called Purity which has been a long time favorite cleanser of mine, followed by When Hope is Not Enough firming serum, Hope in a Jar moisturizer, and finally Hope in A Tube eye cream.

They have recently enhanced two of my favorite products: the Purity cleanser is now a foaming cleanser, which makes me very excited!  Next, Philosophy has added an SPF 20 to its wonder Hope in A Jar moisturizer but with lightweight texture.  Quick and simple– after trying the whole ritual my skin felt great!  I tried their Oxygen Peel last night and loved it!  I must confess I am not as good as I should be about taking the time to peel weekly (don’t tell the Beauty Snobs!), but after trying this and seeing how easy it is, I will begin to get in the habit!

Philosophy has so many different things to offer everyone, we were given a peek of their gift sets, they are beyond adorable, each one themed by the season, occasion, and scents of shower gel or lip glosses. I would like to thank Philosophy for the informational lecture on its new products and for allowing us to try them out! Philosophy available at Sephora.com
