Jimmy Choo Heather Knee High Boots

Oh dear, have you heard, scruntchy boots are back! Bad flashback to the 80’s – me with flat mid calf way too scrunchy boots, as if anyone needs their legs to look stumpier, even glamazon Heidi Klum couldn’t pull off those boots with her mile long legs. This time around, I am going with high heels with a less dramatic with the scruntch! I love Jimmy Choo for their boots, pretty much all the Jimmy Choo I own are the boots. Even if you aren’t in love with the scruntchy trend, these eliminate that scruntch left by ill fitting boots. Unless your calves are shaped exactly like that boots, you will get some gathers after they break in. With these, you don’t have to worry about that! Although, I have to ask, how long will this trend last because the Choos will last many many years. $1145 at Net-a-Porter.com

  1. I like these boots I think they’re really nice to look at, and are most likely even better to wear. They don’t “scrunch” to the point of looking like your legs are a slinky toy, and the design overall is very attractive.

    Kelly, on another note:

I have a pair of beautiful suede pants that I purchased on one of my many trips to Spain. They are a beautiful rust/brown color suede and are straight, with no embellishments whatsoever. I recently saw an ad for Tod’s featuring Gweneth Paltrow wearing what appeared to be a suede pair of pants and it got me to wondering whether or not I would be commiting fashion suicide by bringing out my suede pants. I could really use a girl-in-the-knows opinion like yours! I think they would look great with a cool pair of boots, but would rather find out sooner rather than later if they just should stay put away!!!!

  2. Hi Michelle

Suede pants can make a great statement but make sure they are in flawless condition. Suede gets ‘bald’ in patches and looks messy unless they are pristine.

A pair of boots would be fabulous with it!

  3. Hi Tina,

Thank you so much for getting back to me and for the advice as well regarding the care of my Spanish Suede pants. I’m really looking forward to checking out some new boots tomorrow. Hopefully, I’ll be able to find an affordable, yet tasteful/snob worthy pair to go with them. If you’ve any suggestions, I’m listening!!!
