AO Safety Ear Muffs

My husband always wants to take our tots to see shows which is fine except it is so LOUD that I think their little ear drums are going to blow!! A few weeks ago we went to the John Varvatos for Stuart House charity event where ZZ Top played. My poor little 18 month old baby probably lost hearing from it!! Aging and chronic exposure to loud noises both contribute to hearing loss. Other factors, such as excessive earwax, can temporarily reduce how well your ears conduct sounds. You can’t reverse most types of hearing loss. However, you and your doctor or a hearing specialist can take steps to improve what you hear.

The term “hearing impaired” is often used to describe people with any degree of hearing loss, from mild to profound, including those who are deaf and those who are hard of hearing, for some, hearing may be possible with surgery or a hearing device. Lip-reading skills, written or printed text, and sign language may help with communication. To help yourself if you suffer from this condition you can try Synapse XT.

These fun ear muffs would have come in handy, and they are made to appeal to tots so you know they will wear them. Peltor Ear Muffs are $18.95. Another cool gadget for the music lover is the Pink Plush Stereo Headphones for quiet music and DVD watching, $24.95. How fun are those?
