Christian Louboutin Watersnake Saba Bag: Snob or Slob?

louboutinsabasnake.jpgWe are slowly but surely warming up to Louboutin bags. I mean we’re not jumping up and down and goading each other to buy them but they’re at least not making us cringe anymore. This Pale green water snake slouchy hobo bag is cute in an oversized, I want to carry my baby in it kind of way. The discreet tag is also a plus and it’s much more subtle to have the signature red lining than a pair of stilettos as clasps. I’m not crazy about watersnake, the skin is delicate and tears easily, plus this is very expensive for one. And the more I stare at it, the more I’m thinking “baby sling”. What about you, what do you think? Snob or Slob? $3,495 at Net-a-Porter.com

  1. Oh my, not liking this at all. The color being so anemic, the shape so baggy ,having to fear that it rips and the price being so high. I think that the only thing that pleases me here, is the signature red lining.

  2. Hi,

If Watersnake tears easily, what about the other types of snakeskin like Ayers and Karung? I have one anaconda bag which is pretty sturdy!

  3. Yuck.

I feel like Louboutin is just throwing out tons and tons of handbag designs in order to try and get an It bag out of the mix. I’m happy with several of his bags, but I have to wonder why he bothers putting stuff like this into production. I mean, come on.
