Frugal Snob: Pure and Clear

I’ve written about my devotion to Bach products before — Ladies and Gents, I swear by this stuff!! I experience mild stress on a daily basis and it’s usually over frivolous stuff; a few drops of Bach’s Rescue Remedy on my tongue and a deep breath has added years to be life! Needless to say I’ve tried a bunch of their other products and while none have worked as effectively for me as their Rescue Remedy, I do like their creams so it’s worth mentioning that they’ve just launched Rescue Gel ($12.95, available in Whole Foods). The gel provides relief for stressed muscles, aches, pains, stiffness, and tightness. Even more exciting, for anyone on a budget and suffering from Acne, the makers of Bach have just launched a whole new line called Pure & Clear. Learn more about it after the jump!

The homeopathic skincare line is comprised of five products –

  • Nelsons Pure & Clear Purifying Cleansing Wash, $9.95
  • Nelsons Pure & Clear Purifying Cleansing Wipes, $7. 95
  • Nelsons Pure & Clear Balancing Toner, $10.95
  • Nelsons Pure & Clear Acne Gel, $6.95
  • Nelsons Pure & Clear Acne Treatment Tablets, $6.95

The line takes an internal and external, holistic approach to skincare by addressing the root of acne with a natural ingestible and topical system created from healing ingredients.

The topical range fights blemishes with a blend of plant extracts including Arnica Montana, Calendula, Hypericum (more commonly known as St. John’s-wort), and Tea Tree Oil, which acts as an antiseptic to cleanse the skin. Staying true to their homeopathic roots, the Pure & Clear Acne Treatment Tablets use Sulphur 30c, known amongst homeopaths for its many skin benefits ranging from acne to eczema.

The line’s marquee product, the Acne Treatment Gel, is currently available in Whole Foods nationwide and the full line of products will be available in the fall!
