I hated that creepy Owl clutch from Judith Leiber but this Jaguar clutch is strangely appealing and sexy to me. Of course I would never pay 5 grand for this thing but I enjoy looking at it and certainly appreciate the thousands of sparkling crystals used to create the drama of this magnificent animal. I have a thing for big cats and the jaguar is probably my favorite. They have a languid ease that mask their fierce personality– at once cuddly and terrifying!
For example, this Jaguar appears to be lounging but she is actually ready to pounce on her prey (may it be deer or 20 year old male)– the Jaguar always gets what she wants.
It’s outrageous how much these minaudieres cost though!!!

I only admire Judith Leiber bags as little works of art, in the same vein as Limoges boxes. Just put them on a shelf and they look pretty.
I agree and I also have loved her bags since I was a very little. It would be great to have a crystal menagerie of her bags.

Like Kaiulani though I can’t see myself ever using this as a bag (not that I could actually afford it…) but it could make a great talking piece displayed somewhere in the house!

I like this design but i find her bags to be a little impractical. I have a plain one from Judith Lieber for over 5 years and have only used it once unless like my other evening bags. Also, for that price, I buy Hermes.
