Gosh how time flies! Around this time last year I was at the Fashion Week tents flipping through WWD when I came across a story about Givenchy’s Phenomen’Eyes Mascara ($28)
. The mascara, as you can see from the photo above, has a small sphere with tiny bristles as its applicator allowing for a precise application. I use it along with a mascara with a regular applicator because if you rely on solely this one you’ll obviously have to devote a bit more time to your mascara application. This is a great buy for volume and for those of us who have some tiny, hard-to-reach lashes (it’s also good for touching up!). Now Givenchy has launched this mascara in three new colors — Blue, Olive Green, and Plum. I checked them out at Sephora and the colors fit in well for me given how I use the wand. I could see myself applying black mascara and then adding some swoops of plum to add some extra pop!
