Salma Hayek has been seen sporting Gucci’s New Jackie Large Hobo ($3,100) on a number of occasions with her little one in hand. Clearly it’s a nice and roomy bag– that said from owning a number of slouchy Gucci bags including the Large Hosebit Hobo which has a very similar shape, it’s impossible to find anything in these bags because everything falls all the way to the center bottom! The look of the bag with its bamboo-detailed tassels and golden hardware is pure Gucci (but is that a good thing?). I’m not liking the outer stitching which gives the bag an almost western cowboy feel, and why in the world does it have an extra strap!? Also the color is very hard to pull-off and needs to be carefully matched — doesn’t it look completely off with Hayek’s outfit?

The bag is fine. Not ugly not special. Always enjoy coverage of Salma. She seems to really move through life to her own beat.

I like this bag, and for all we know she is probably carrying it as a diaper bag. It can hold everything possible (including her daughter)
I think the color suits what she is wearing. Assuming that is red and red goes with everything.
If they have the bag in navy blue, however I would definitely go after it. Im a huge fan of big bags and big bags aren’t going away anytime soon.

I like the bag, it’s on my to get list for this year probably in the grey or brown or purple. I think it gives a nice shot of color to her outfit. It has been a while since I’ve considered a Gucci back, it really is a nice classic.

The bag is way too big for her frame. If she’s using it as a diaper bag, please pick another shape – an oversize hobo is just sloppy-looking.
I saw it in grey deerhide. Fabulous and so roomy and comfortable to use. The only downside is the PRICE!! It goes straight up my X’mas wishlist!
