The first time I discovered the Adriana Castro handbags was on bagsnob.com because it is the ultimate destination for all things that have to do with bags! After Tina recommended Adriana’s collection I checked out her website and immediately fell in love with the luxurious skins and colors she uses!

The First time I saw Ardianas bag was on Loren Ridingers Fashion Blog and fell in love with them. The bright colors and workmanship are fantastic. I since have followed Adriana and love seeing the A list of celebs that adorn themselves with her wonderful products. Adriana also has a very sweet spirit and is always cordial with everyone you can just feel the love..
I discovered Adrianas bags on a trip to Miami last year with my best friend. We had both come out of long term relationships that ended badly and needed a little pick me up. The trip – the sun, the sand, the shopping – was just what we needed. It was great to spend quality time with her away from the drama we had both just been through. Memories of that trip always include my best friend, sangria and Adrianas bags – a perfect way to get over heartbreak!
I love Adriana Castro bags and wallets. A friend forwarded me a link of a beautiful cobalt blue wallet last year and I was blown away by the color, skin, and affordable price! I particularly love her use of natural python!
I first spotted the coco crocodile messenger from Kelly’s post a while back and was intrigued by the unique design and natural skins. Later, I am fortunate enough to be able to visit Bendel’s easily and I took the first opportunity to check out Adriana’s collection in person – and was SOLD. I first discovered & fell in love with Adriana’s bags around March 5, 2009 on BagSnob.com. It was here at this very computer I learned Adriana had generously donated the Castro Coco Clutch for a charity event Tina was doing. Not only was the clutch young/hip but also classic with the exotic skins, but I was so impressed that this designer offered one up for a good cause. I’m sure there are many successful handbags designers out there that would not do the same. The fact that she is young & fairly fresh into the design world made it even more meaningful. Good things happen to good people. I look forward to seeing fresh designs from her for years to come.
I discovered Adriana Castro on Handbag Designer, and I am so happy to see how far she has come! When I stumbled upon her webpage, if felt like I had happened upon a one-of-a-kind vintage treasure. I loved reading about her story and the love and care she put into her line and immediately went to check out her website. I loved the vibrant colors, the shapes, and since I could not yet buy one (graduate school) I instead voted for her to be my fan favorite. I’ve decided that when I start making money I will save up for one of her bags. I was really excited to see her featured on BagSnob, congratulations on your success Adriana, you deserve it!
I discovered her hand bags awhile back on this website. I love the use of skins and the shapes. You can definitely ask my family and they will tell you I’m a bag snob so for me to fall in love with a designers complete collection is unusual. My favorites by her would be the Vibora clutch, Sally Frame Bag, or this bag. All her designs are so beautiful and luxurious.
I first fell in love with Adriana’s bags right here on bagsnob. You guys always put me on to the new hot bags. Anyway I saw the feature on here and then ran over to her website and fell in all kinds of love with the bags.I love the colors and textures. I’ll be honest, I discovered Adriana’s bags today right here on Bag Snob with the picture of J-Lo carrying the fabulous and beautiful python hobo/tote. Stunning. I have since checked out her blog and fell in love with the Mod Blue ostrich hobo. Lovely.
I learned of Adriana Castro’s careful attention to detail right here on bagsnob.com. I have never liked flashy bags that throw the name of the brand into sharp relief — why would I pay to advertise for a brand? — so I’ve found myself drawn to Adriana’s blend of quality materials and creative reworkings of classic shapes. Someone on Twitter pointed me to Adriana on a #followfriday post and I fell in love with her designs and beautiful materials. Of course, I was rooting for her during the IHDA competition!
Recently, I was upgraded on a flight and sat next to a woman who had just bought the Modish Clutch and when I asked her, “Is that Adriana Castro?” she almost fell out of her seat. Needless to say, we spent the entire flight talking about the really important things in life: handbags and accessories!
The first time I discovered Adriana was through her incredible generous spirit as she approached the non-profit organization I preside, Key for Colombia, and without being asked donated the most beautiful bag I had seen to our cause to help us raise funds to feed children in Colombia. It is rare to find people with such talent and creativity as Adriana, but much much rarer to find such a talented artist with such a compassionate and generous soul! Adriana is blessed and she is passing her gifts forward and making a difference in the lives of many children!

I’ll never forget discovering Adriana’s bags on a trip to Miami with my mom. We had a fantastic time & stumbled upon her treasured bag’s in a boutique. They had the most glorious python bag that in a certain light, had an almost metallic sheen to it.
Mom wanted to get me the bag as a late birthday present but my wonderful hubby knew I wanted a python & had just purchased a black one while in New York. Now, don’t get me wrong…my hubby’s gift is special & sentimental but that shimmering Adriana python will always be “the one that got away!!”
Silly me for feeling guilty that 2 pythons in one week is too much…won’t make that mistake again 🙂

I was expecting the usual suspects (LV, Gucci, Jacobs, Burberry, et. al.), but was pleasantly surprised to get Adriana Castro, whose bags and my personality were described as “unique” and “quirky” and “laid-back.” So I did a search which led me to her bags and The Bag Snob and I’ve been a huge fan of both ever since.

I first fell in love with these bags (and, by extension, their designer) when I saw them at a boutique while vacationing in Palm Springs last year. Absolutely exquisite. She really knows how to showcase the beauty of the exotic skins she uses.
I have a friend who returned from a trip to Miami with the most amazing purse and it was a Adriana Castro bag! Since then I can’t help but notice celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian toting around her most magnificent bags! Bagsnob keeps me in touch with the new collections and I think it’s amazing that a young designer is making such a name for herself and inspiring other young designers to pursue their dreams.

I discovered Adriana while she was still in school, I bought one of her first purses she ever designed. It was light brown suede with dark green croc handles and frontal details. I LOVE it! I wear it everywhere I go, it is so comfortable!
I also have a lot of her belts, which are really elegant and classic! And a orange cardholder that has become my wallet! I am tired of huge chunky wallets, I can sum it in I LOVE ADRIANA!

oddly enough I read about her on bag snob 🙂 and that same day my friend breezed into a ritual brunch with one of the bags as well. what i loved most was that actually seeing it in person made me want it even more. The bags are just so beautiful and sumptuous.
I first learned about Adriana Castro bagshere on Bagsnob (where else right? this is afterall the ultimate site for bags) ….the moment I feasted my eyes on the Meissa Hobo in Ostrich, I was already a huge fan. It looked so divine, comfortable, and the look of the texture was so amazing. I am kicking myself for not ordering her ostrich bag earlier this year when it was 30% off…. sigh….
It was July I believe when Jennifer Lopez was snapped carrying the Python Meissa Hobo. It is gorgeous and made me pause. I looked up Adriana Castro and found her blog. She is my age and went to college in my home state of Indiana! I am proud of her success at such a young age, and she definitely inspired me to work even harder. I also browsed the website and love her croc clutches and bangles. (LOVE the star cuff!) If I am so lucky as to win, I would choose the croc (live in San Francisco). A bag so timeless, well-made, and beautiful would become a life-long accessory.
I am ashamed to say but i have never seen an Adrian Castro bag in real life. I live in the Midwest where fashion life is pretty much non-existent and all 5 or 6 fashion boutiques in my town can all be found in the same Square. However, many girls, I am sure, will agree that fashion does not know geography because it lives in our hearts.
Having read many fashion magazines and blogs I have noticed Adriana Castro’s bags many times- not because they were in a hands of a famous celebrity (and there are quite a few lovers of her bags in Hollywood!) but because of the originality, splash of color and exotic skin materials. But the main reason why i am attracted to her designs is her own story behind each and every creation. Recently I discovered Castro’s blog and learned that her passion for her business started in early childhood and I think when someone truly loves what they do it shows in their creations.
Realistically, I cannot afford Adriana’s bag now or any time in the next few years of grad school. But I have a firm belief that once I graduate I will be able to build my own business and also be just as succesful, and maybe then I will proudly carry Castro design on my shoulder. I saw a photo of Kim Kardashian with a LUSCIOUS clutch! I absolutely loved it so I googled it and found out it was Adriana Castro. I have been coveting her bags ever since then but am sadly on a college student budget (aka no money for bag snob worthy bags 🙁 ). I do love her designs though, maybe some day!
I first discovered Adriana Castro on PurseBlog (and later here at BagSnob). I am a “bag snob in training” but immediately fell in love with the exotic skins free of distracting logos, the gorgeous colors and designs, and of course the reasonable price tag. As a graduate student, I have a very small handbag budget, so I have to choose my purchases very carefully. These bags fit well with my personal style: classic, elegant, and with an element of fun but not loud or flashy. I saved up and bought a beautiful Adriana Castro zip wallet in purple crocodile which I absolutely LOVE. The Meissa hobo in natural python looks fabulous: it’s young and fun, but classic too! I enjoy following Adriana on her blog and look forward to the day when I can afford one of her bags (hello graduation!)

To be very honest, I did not like exotic leathers and I still cannot touch any python, lizard and other leathers…I remember looking at a web site which had an article about a young designer: Adriana Castro and her Python Loren hobo and meissa clutch…Somehow the shape and design got to me and I started googling Adriana Castro…The more I learned about her and her designs, the more I liked her bags and accessories…Her designs slowly grew on me and now for the first time ever in my life, I am contemplating a bag with an exotic leather only by Adriana Castro…Hopefully, I will get a nice “exotic” bag from her site someday…

I first discovered Adriana Castro on The Purse Forum, but when I began noticing celebrities like Jennifer Lopez (the Melissa), the Kardashian’s (Vibora Clutch, Modish Clutch) and Eva Longoria (Annie Clutch), I really started paying attention! I realized immediately that you could buy these bags blindfolded – perfect stitching, amazing skin quality, and unparalleled craftsmanship. Not to mention your choices in style, color, skin, and finish! And the pricepoint is reasonable as well, which is tough to come by these days (especially with skins)!! And I especially loved that when you purchase an Adriana Castro piece, you are contributing to the repopulation program of the caiman species and that her products are part of a sustainable use program! A purse with a purpose – a bag to be proud of – you can’t top that!!
I first discovered Adriana Castro here on Bag Snob and have had a crush ever since! What I love about Adriana Castro bags is how the overall look of the bag is balanced by the vibrant colors/rich textures and the classic shapes. I’m a strong believer in investing in bags that will never go out of style. I hope this doesn’t sound terrible, but, I was at my grandmother’s funeral. She lived 94 happy years. My well-to-do cousin from NYC was there and her handbag was fabulous! I just had to ask her about it. That’s when she told me about Adriana Castro. I have loved AC bags ever since!
Last year, a friend of mine bought a bag but had it ship to me in NYC as they couldn’t send it to her abroad. She asked me check the bag for her upon receiving. The bag is absolutely fabulous and well-made. Both the ostrich and croc bits were beautiful. I have been a ‘fan’ and follow all the updates since. Still saving up for my own one day!!

I first discovered Adriana Castro’s work when I was in Miami visiting a friend in summer 2007 and went to a sample sale where Castro’s work was featured. It was then I fell in love with her handbags that I found structured so simply yet were sophisticated and casual at the same time, so that they would stand the test of time. I followed her work ever since then, and my friend in Miami remembers how I loved Castro’s work and sends me clips of articles that he reads on Castro. He sent one about a year ago on her use of exotic skins and after that it seems everywhere I turn I see exotics. I realized then that Castro is truly ahead of her time, a visionary in the industry, and an artist. I will always admire her handbags and hope to someday own one myself.

I discovered Adriana Castro’s bags from Handbag Designer 101’s Independent Handbag Designer Awards Now With Shoes where she was nominated for the Audience Fan Favorite Award. I was looking for emerging designers and when I saw a picture of the Crocodile Modish Clutch in white with the natural tones in the middle, my jaw literally dropped! It was so gorgeous, and classic and unlike any clutch I’d seen. I immediately went to her site and saw the entire collection and placed Adriana at the top of my new designers list. I love that I can pass these bags on to my future children and they’d still be in style. Her bags appeal to many different types of people with different styles because of their classic style, but with the different color choices,you can make any bag your own. I see great things in the future for her!

I discovered Adriana Castro’s work the fall of my freshman year while browsing (and drooling) Bag Snob and other fashion (bag-centric only, of course) editorials. As a college student, money is extremely tight and I have to save money for essentials and only put any extras I have towards a special bag fund. Window shopping and living vicariously through others is pretty much what I do best. I had lost all hope that I would ever be able to afford a real exotic skin handbag. The prices were already astronomical for high quality leather bags and crocodile, ostrich, or python I knew would be beyond anything I could ever dare touch. But I immediately fell in love with Adriana Castro’s creations because of their comparative affordability for a product that is very high quality. For example, this python hobo is worth $1,900, but I know of people who have purchased large Louis Vuitton bags for over $2,000 that are not even made of genuine leather (just that logo-emblazoned glazed canvas). Not to hate on Louis Vuitton of course, who have their own place in fashion and their own audience, but Adriana Castro has made it possible for me to dream about saving up for my first exotic, rather than giving up and settling for something transient and of lower quality. I’m pleased to say that I’m almost 1/3 of the way towards being able to buy my first Adriana Castro bag (I’m eyeing the Crocodile-Ostrich Mintaka tote specifically) but if I win, I’ll be saving up for my second, as opposed to my first! I first heard of Adriana from a friend with excellent taste 🙂 And I am so glad I did, I love the colors, patterns, skins and the ‘look’ of her bags!!! I have fallen in love with them because I think they represent an intense passion for life, love and color. I love how they are inspired by different cultures and parts of the globe and how that is reflected in each bag. The superior quality speaks for itself and is another reason I love the way they look!! Adriana’s bags would look great with lots of stuff that I wear!! From my colorful global and ethnic wear (mostly from Asia) to my customary NYC black, her bags would be suitable for many of my favorite outfits and occasions!!
I haven’t been able to purchase one yet (still saving!!!) but at least I can dream!!

I first learned about Adriana through the bagsnob and now follow her on Twitter and Facebook to sneak peeks into her life. When I saw Eva Longoria’s fabulous clutch, I automatically fell in love. The Annie clutch made Eva’s casual look so much more sophisticated and when I saw it on Audrina Partridge from the Hills when she attended the Teen Choice Awards, I was automatically drawn to the vibrant blue. The colors and textures Adriana uses in her pieces are what catches my eye and draws me in even more.
It was love at first sight. A fabulous bag being carried by a fabulous woman in downtown DC. I had to know the name of my one true love, so I asked. “It’s the Vibora tote by Adriana Castro,” she replied. Its look, feel, and very essence oozed class and couture. I coveted that bag and later the entire Adriana Castro line, and I dream of the day that I am the fabulous woman with the fabulous bag by Adriana Castro.

I first fell in love with Adriana Castro’s handbags last December when she was doing a Trunk Show at Henri Bendel in NYC. We were in town visiting relatives and I was fortunate enough to get to go with my hubby’s aunt.

I discovered Adriana Castro handbags via my good friend, who first saw them on the Bag Snob pages. I think they are gorgeous bags, in the most incredible materials and colors. However, I know my friend wants one more than I do, so I’m going to try and win a bag for her (we live in California, so the python is out, but I know she loves all of Adriana’s skins!).
I found Adriana Castro’s bags completely by accident. I was searching around looking for a new bag and I found Adriana’s bags. I had never seen them before and it made me stop and stare (if I’m really honest drool a little)!
I was so amazed by how simply gorgeous they all are. Every one is feminine, unique, and absolutely jaw droopingly amazing. I could see myself wearing it on any occasion from attending a wedding to shopping on Sunday with my girlfriends. That was the true wonder of these bags that they are individually works of art and truly fantastically made and yet they don’t dictate the occasion you can where you can wear it.
So many bags have specific uses and are locked into one dress code. Every one of Adriana Castro’s bags are so beautiful that I want to wear it going grocery shopping in my pjs!

I am a serious purse junkie and peruse both the Bag Snob and the Purse Forum webwsites daily. My collection leans more toward Lady Dior and Chanel bags, but the current recession has me feeling a bit queasy about the amount of $$ I’ve spent on purses, so I’ve been exploring new designers in hopes of finding better bargains. I discovered the Adriana Snap Wallet in caramel crocodile on the Purse Forum blog and was astounded by both the insanely reasonable price ($450) and elegance of it. The color literally looks like melted butterscotch. I was thrilled to see such a pretty piece that was also affordable. Hats off to Adriana for keeping her exotic skin creations beautifully designed and a mostly guilt-free pleasure during these challenging financial times!

When was the first time you discovered Adriana Castro handbags and why did you fall in love with them?
Through Bagsnob and I love the attention to detail,the everyday usability and the imaginative use of color and design.
I have always loved exotic skins like python and ostrich and fell in love with one bag in particular at Bendels (It turned out to be Adriana’s). I wasn’t really familiar with Adriana Castro at that point and googled her to see more about the designer of “my” bag. Since then I have been dying for a Meissa in python or ostrich or the Vibora clutch in croc. One thing I really love about Adriana’s bags is that they are elegant enough to stand on their own. The exotic skins and colors that she uses really stand out without having to have logo’s or extra embellishments and for these to be exotics they are really reasonably priced. If I would happen to win great, but if not I for one will continue saving for one of these bags.
Of course I discovered her on Bag Snob! Visited her web site and immediately thought her bags would bring out the latent vamp in ALL of us! Love her work!

As many others, I discovered Adriana Castro’s bags at BagSnob, but the impression they caused on me was a lasting one. Castro’s bags have a natural feel to them, the look and touch of the skin is almost like, organic. The way the bags are put together, the flaps, the handles and the structure of the bag themselves come off as very natural. When you see someone with Adriana’s bag on their shoulder or clutched in their hands, the bags pop out for their effortless style. Sometimes you look for bags that compliment your outfit, and sometimes you look for outfits that will compliment your bag. Castro’s bags are the latter.

I just recently discovered Adriana Castro’s bags on the BagSnob site. I have yet to own one, but I think they’re gorgeous and hope to someday.
I first heard of Adriana when she recieved the GenArt Fresh Faces award (for accessory design). I love hearing about new designers this way and was amazed by the timelessness and quiet luxury of her bags. I purchased a cosmetic case for my mom for mother’s day and since than I have not only been impressed with her designs and quality but also with her beyond impeccable customer service. Love this gorgeous hobo…tres chic.
The first time I realized that Adriana Castro was behind some of the greatest looking purses/bags was when I was returning from a flight from Paris back to New York…and I had done some serious shopping, but for some reason I could not find anywhere these great purses I had been seeing…and didn’t even know the designer of them.
It turned out the lady whom ended up sitting next to me on the flight back, had one of her bags…I couldn’t wait ’till she got seated…and just blurted out ” Love your purse, really love it…who’s the designer?”…alas, an answer..

Isabella just said…”No money…please, I wish to give it to you as a gift, as you so admired it…and were polite enough to only mention you admired it, and wished to purchase it from me, only once…Here, it is now yours’…a gift”…
as I tried to quickly empty out my new Gucci bag to give her in return, as we are now standing and waiting besides one another to get off the plane, Isabella states to me…
“No Darling, mine is truly a gift…a gift I give to you, just enjoy it…I wish for nothing in return”
I thanked her so much, etc., etc., I couldn’t believe it…she gave me this “gift”.
Later, I found a lovely hand-written note in it from her.
Isabella…Thank You!!! For the “gift”, for the memory I will always have of you, and our lovely conversation while crossing the pond together…and for introducing me to this lovely person whom desings such exquisite bags….

I first saw them featured here on bagsnob – and then all of a sudden, I noticed them everywhere. The styles are clean and very chic and the skins that she uses… to die for!!! I am also very impressed with her price point – when one considers that every other Versace bag is $3000 – $4000 and looks like a big “hot mess,” it is thrilling to see exotic skins used on these gorgeous bags for around 2 grand.
I am looking forward to owning one VERY SOON!!!

If I had unlimited money like they do these are the only bags I would be carrying. They are all so beautiful and the material they’re made of is so unique and fashionable. The first time that I saw the luxurious Adriana Castro handbags was on the Bagsnob website. They are timeless.
I first fell in love after seeing a Adriana Castro in a magazine. I’ve seen a lot of high end bags in magazines but most of them are way over priced or don’t seem worth buying. But Adriana Castro bags are worth so much more than they charge! I love the fact that they are using these gorgeous unique fabrics. You can see the luxury of the python without even touching the bag. It just looks so rich and gorgeous and really pops out at you from the pages of the magazine. The bags totally make a statement of luxury and richness. I’m so amazed that they are so reasonably priced and in this economy that is so important. The best part is that even though they are priced reasonably they don’t look cheap. They just put forth an image of high fashion and indulgence. I am totally in love with this designer!
I found these bags beachwear my daughter fell in love with them first. She found them and she told me I just had to see them! So I checked them out and was really impressed. Usually my daughter and I have different taste in things but we both absolutely love all of the bags in this line. I’m so excited to see what is coming up in the next collection. I think these bags are great because they’re so beautiful and they work for many people and many occasions. They’re not so young that I don’t like them and they’re not too mature looking that my daughter doesn’t love them. I’m afraid if I win this bag my daughter will try and steal it!
I just think that the materials that are used are so gorgeous and beautiful. I haven’t seen many handbags made of these and that’s what I like so much. I hate walking out the door in seeing 20 people wear “my” handbag. And so many of the designer bags where I live, which is Scottsdale, Arizona, have tons of little teenyboppers wearing them. So bags like these are truly gorgeous and perfect for any outfit. I would love to win this even if my daughter is going to deal it!
As an aspiring footwear designer, I am always on the lookout for emerging designers. While looking at nominees for the IDHA’s, such as Raphael Young, I saw the Modish Clutch by Adriana Castro. I was so impressed by the bag (especially amongst her competition) that I googled to see more of the collection. Needless to say, I became an instant fan, as it was clear that Adriana didn’t get lucky with that one design– she is extremely talented. In addition to the Modish Clutch, the Vibora Clutch and the Meissa Hobo are my favorites from the collection. I love the simplicity and the classic designs of Adriana’s bags. The designs, in combination with the exotic skins and all the fabulous colors, are so strong that logos and over the top embellishments aren’t necessary for them to catch your eye (and keep your attention). These are bags you carry from season to season without them going out of style.
I’m pretty confident that everyone here is both a fan of Adriana’s work and a lover of handbags, so I’m not going to keep stating the obvious. I think what makes the Adriana Castro brand so special is Adriana. She is only 26 years old!!!!!!! While still in school, she established this brand and in just a few short years, it has received tremendous amounts of positive press in the world’s leading fashion magazines and is on the arms of some of the most stylish celebs. She is such an inspiration to all young female entrepreneurs who wish to pursue their dreams and live lives filled with their individual passions. Her story played a part in inspiring me to apply for Business school in Italy, which I’m happy to report I just got accepted to! So Adriana, thank you for being so fearless in pursuing your passion and for being a reminder that we are not limited by age, background, or any external force. I am a college student and it is nearly impossible to find another student on campus with unique, tasteful, and timeless sense of fashion. One day last semester while walking to class I saw someone with a phenomenal handbag! I just had to stop her and ask her about it, to find it was an Adriana Castro. As soon as I got home I looked up her collection and fell in complete lust.
Ever since that day I have been saving every extra penny to buy one for myself. Her bags are creative and different from anything I have ever seen, yet they still have a fun youthful touch. Plus I wouldn’t mind being the envy of every other girl on campus!
