It seems that most of you weren’t all that into the Fall 2009 Nina Ricci bag collection and I don’t blame you! The Nina Ricci Agneau Pleated Besace Bag ($2,750) makes Uma Thurman look so frumpy! If I didn’t know better I’d think the bag was a wannabe Chanel 2.55 vintage find. The part-chain shoulder strap looks so stumpy and the whole bag strikes me as somewhat cheesy and uninspired.

The pleats and the strap are lovely but those details might look better on a more structured bag.

Wishing it had some kind of hardware instead of that bow thing, and the strap is too short for it to be worn as a crossbody.
Uma doesn’t look frumpy to me. However, the bag does not look like it’s worth $2K.
If you think Uma looks frumpy, we’re all doomed. The bag is so not worth that amount of money. The bow really kills it. Complete slob of a bag.
Maybe if it was smaller it wouldnt be so bad.
