Desert Essence Organic Coconut Shampoo and Conditioner

I received a sample of this new Desert Essence Organics Coconut Shampoo and Conditioner a couple of weeks ago and used it religiously every other day. The coconut shampoo and conditioner is made to nourish and brings back shine and health to over-processed, damaged hair. Infused with organic coconut oil to provide intense moisture, smooth frizzies and restore hair’s natural luster. With continued use, hair looks revived, strong and healthy. When I opened the bottle the wonderful aroma of the coconut spilled out and left a subtle hint of fragrance on my hair throughout the day, which I got a couple of compliments on. Now I usually don’t condition my hair every time I shampoo because my scalp tends to get oily, but my hair is a little dry so I decided to just do both steps each time I cleansed my hair. My hair did frizz a little less, but there still were a couple of fly aways after styling, and it didn’t seems to weigh my hair down too much. But towards the end of my trial my hair did seem to get oily quicker then usual, so I think that I’ll have switch back to my old shampoos and use this just when I need a nice hydration.

  1. I have to admit I saw the Made from Earth Organic Hair Care products one evening on a TV commercial and it intrigued me, but I was skeptical. I decided to buy some online –

It took a little getting used to and I did see improved results after about a good month of use. Meaning it took that long to adjust to how much I should use, technique, etc. I have finer hair that never really could get enough moisture from conditioners. The ends would always feel dry, no matter how often I go for trims. This cleansing conditioner calmed my hair and really moisturized it. It doesn’t feel heavy, doesn’t look greasy, and I have no more fly away hairs.

Lastly, the Peppermint smell of the conditioner is soooo relaxing and fresh. I love it. Its called the Peppermint Herbal Conditioner, and it comes with the Tea Tree Shampoo in a package.

  2. I HAVE USED THE COCONUT SHAMPOO & CONDITONER FOR YEARS – GIVING UP MY PREVIOUS FEKKAI SHAMPOO – IT WAS THAT GOOD – BUT THEY CHANGED THE FORMULA OF THE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER AND IT IS AWFUL- NO MORE SOFT SHINY MOISTURIZED HAIR – NO GREAT COCONUT SMELL- IT IS THIN AND RUNNY AND MAKES MY HAIR VERY DRY AND GRUNGY LOOKING – BEFORE I NEVER NEEDED A SALON DEEP CONDITION TREATMENT- MY HAIR WAS SHINY, SOFT AND MOISTURIZED – THEY TOOK A FANTASTIC PRODUCT WITH A CULT FOLLOWING AND DESTROYED THE PRODUCT – AND I NOTICED ON THE NEW TUBES IT NO LONGER SAYS ORGANIC – WHAT WERE THEY THINKING !
