Suri Cruise gears up in her mommy’s clothing line, Holmes & Yang (partner is Jeanne Yang). She is seen in the Dove Dress while out shopping with her mommy and sister, Isabella Cruise. Suri is known to be the best dressed tot in the world and her mom decided to kick it up a notch by designing a line so exclusive, chances are only celeb tots will be wearing them (but don’t they get things for free? So how does this business model work??). It’s all about looking fabulous at all cost and I’m sure daddy does not mind footing the bill for his most precious. The Dove dress is $1200. I can’t imagine this line of dresses taking off at an economic time like this. Even if we weren’t in a recession, $1200 is ridiculously expensive for something they will outgrow so quickly. Maybe her celebrity friends will back her on this.
I think this is too cute of a dress to have been designed by Holmes…I suspect Yang had a hand in this! Yes, it’s cute…but not $1200 cute. It’s almost rude to charge $1200 for a dress, especially when people are losing their homes and jobs…real, working people that don’t live in Hollywood’s LaLaLand are not impressed with this crap. I suppose there is a market though for it…let’s see: Harlow? nope, she has her own line, so that leaves Violet? nope, her mom is too down to earth and has too much common sense than to spend $1200 on a dress that her daughter will outgrow in one season.
