If I had my way, my crib would have been custom painted. Long story but the short version is, I didn’t get my way! =). Sure you can paint murals on the wall but you can’t exactly take it with you when you move. There is no better way to create a theme than to start with the furniture. No, I do not recommend going overboard by having every single piece painted but of course the crib is the obvious choice because most have plain sides just screaming for embellishment!
