Freida Pinto in Missoni Bag

Freida Pinto is whole-heartedly embracing this season’s trend of the long-strap bag. Spotted out in Montreal over the weekend, the “Slumdog Millionaire” actress kept it simple yet stylish with her Missoni cotton zigzag printed bag from the Italian label’s current spring collection. Because of its delicate construction using signature zigzag weaving, it’s lightweight yet at the same time roomy. I like how Pinto juxtaposes a pricy bag with an otherwise normal workout outfit–displaying true versatility. And I don’t know about you, but aren’t the Missoni signature stripes just so chic? It’s the perfect exclamation point to add some pop to any outfit–be it activewear, a la Pinto, or a casual white summer dress on the beach.

$770, available at Missoni boutiques in L.A. (310-246-3060) and NY (212-517-9339)

  1. Is she even relevant anymore? One Oscar movie that she wasn’t even nominated for, and now the only reason she has a second movie is that the perv Woody Allen wants her… As for the bag, looks cheap.

  2. I love everything Missoni. It is so beautiful. The feels of the material on my skin is just a little bit of heaven. 🙂

I really like this bag. Perfect to throw a few things in and go…no matter what I’m wearing. The image of wearing a white summer dress on the beach comes to my mind also.

  3. A Missoni bag paired with workout clothes? That’s not versatile – that’s just tacky. And while I generally love Missoni, the bag itself looks like something I can get at K-mart for $15.99.

  4. Man Snob:

    1. It is Pricey not Pricy.

    2. You make me feel like smashing my head against a wall time and time again. This look is sloppy and messy. Nothing chic about it and the bag is nothing to write home about.

Please stop posting on this website. You seem to know little about fashion in general.

  5. I don`t like it. Some women just don`t know how to sprinkle a bit of elegance on a sportsy look. This bag is definitely now what she needed…
