Light Expert By Terry Light

Am I the only one who’s missing eLuxury?  It is where I discovered By Terry, a luxury French cosmetic brand.  I loved the By Terry creamy foundation but it does get too heavy, I’ve switched to the Light Expert and am now obsessed with it.  This is a pen foundation with brush you can keep in your make up bag to touch up all over your face, where ever you need a bit of extra help throughout the day.  Me, it’s under the eyes and on the cheeks (pesky little sun spots be gone!).  It’s way better than the Touche Eclat (that starts smelling and molding within a month) and a great foundation for the lighter summer months.

I have about 20 different foundations on rotation at all times, depending on my skin’s needs and my activities.  What about you, how many different foundations do you regularly use?

  1. So I am not the only one who thought something was wrong w/ my Touche Eclat!! Within a few weeks it started to have this really gross smell… i wasn’t gonna risk anything and chucked it!

Maybe I’m boring, but I only have 1 foundation in rotation at all times! =P

  3. Yeah, I only have one as well. But I rotate through a couple types of concealers depending on my skin condition.

  4. I never had problems with my Touche Eclat going bad, but none of the 3 shades quite matches my skin…

Did you know that By Terry is the baby of Terry de Gunzburg, the original creator of the Touche Eclat concept during her stint as makeup creator at YSL?

I haven’t tried the By Terry foundations, but all the glosses are superb (Lip Expert, Laque de Rose, Laque Lèvres Intense), and the compact powder is simply the best I’ve ever tried.
