Have you marked your calendars yet? Zac Posen’s highly-awaited collection for Target hits stores nationwide this Sunday, and while I’ll be the first to admit I don’t necessarily love every piece–because, really, who does?–I do have a particular affinity for this dress. It’s the first time Target has sold a gown–ever! If that’s not momentous enough, then check out the beautiful “safety-pin” print on Claire Danes, who wore it to the American Museum of Natural History’s spring gala last week in New York City. Danes is by no means tall, so this dress not only fits various body heights but elongates as well! I’m undecided as to whether or not I like Danes’ decision to cinch her waist with such a bold black belt, but I think the combination of black belt and black peep-toe shoes is a striking look (you could also do white for summer). And lest I mention the price? All in all, great summer dress that’ll last you from Memorial to Labor Day!
