I know I must be one of five people, but I find Angelina Jolie‘s style consistently underwhelming – case in point this Prada Saffiano Lux Boston Bag ($1,450). It’s a perfectly nice bag, but not only is it somewhat of a Speedy knock-off, it’s also somewhat of a snooze. I like the hardware and it contrasts nicely with the texture of the black leather, but it doesn’t strike me as anything I would take notice of if it weren’t for the fact that Angelina was the one wearing it. Plus the size of the bag makes it clearly meant for day-time wear, but neither the small handles nor the long strap seem like convenient options for anyone with a busy schedule on their hands. Though it strikes me as equally inconvenient, at least the Safiano + Tessuto has a more original design!

So what if Angelina’s style is underwhelming? Does everyone have to look like Jessica Simpson in the yellow dress and bronze clutch? I think this bag is classic and the option of two handles is great. What other way should she carry a bag that would be more convenient? The best part of the photo is seeing her with her father.

This bag could never be slob. It’s a classic, beautiful bag. A little boring for me , but timeless. It does have the Speedy shape for sure.
I have this bag in pebbled leather and silver hardware. It is a classic shape and goes with everything. I do agree, however, that it is not the most convenient bag to carry but I still love it and it will never go out of style. I do think it looks a bit richer in the thicker textured leather and contrasting shiny silver hardware though. Not big on the triangle Prada logo that seems to be making a comeback. Mine does not have the triangle logo otherwise I probably would have thought twice before purchasing it.
It’s nice looking and practical. Sorry to say that I find it a much better option than your choice of bags so far.
Agreed it’s one of the perfect bag for everyday use.
