Tod’s may be a mainstay for Kate Hudson when it comes to on-screen accessory cameos, but it looks like one particular Chanel bag has made its way into Kate Hudson’s wardrobe. On the set of her upcoming movie, “Something Borrowed,” Hudson sported Chanel’s grey quilted bag from the Spring 2010 collection. While I like the classic 2.55 quilted bag, this modern, not to mention larger, style is equally as striking–and very day appropriate. I’ve long admired this shape while shopping in the store and was always disappointed not to see more about town. If you can afford it and need a great everyday work bag, this is a seriously stylish option. It’s extremely roomy and can easily fit files, magazines, newspapers and even a small Apple MacBook! Kate’s not a big bag girl, so I think it’s ironic that she’s always so accessorized in her movie roles–at least her sartorial choices are A-list all the way.

Can’t see the strap from the picture. Do you know what material is the strap made out of?
I’m a little late seeing this but in the movie the strap is leather. Do you happen to know where to find this or something like it?
