Here is the fashion bag of the season, the Bottega Veneta’s Crossbody. This is not for the amateur fashionista, you must wear this with a skilled balance of restraint and carelessness. As in, make sure your look can handle the overwhelming size without it overwhelming your look. It is really big, 11″ x 13″, (but not as ginormous as other Bottega crossbody bags for Fall) so you have to own it or you will be eaten up by it. But make it look like it is as casual and breezy as an everyday hobo. Which can be done, with the right shoes and pants. This is my favorite of all the crossbody fall bags, not just because of the size but because it is simple, without any exterior pockets or details to add bulk. You must get the green (“bottle”) for the ultimate fashion piece for fall as it is THE hot color of the season. At Bottega Veneta for $2650.

I love just about anything from Bottega Veneta, but judging from where this bag hits the model (below the hip), it doesn’t seem like this would be a bag for a petite gal. Pretty, though!
This is a great bag. I dont think it should be very difficult to find appropriate outfit to it as well. Love the color for the fall season. Nice find Kelly

I tried it on yesterday at the BV store, and found the length of the strap to be fine. At 5’4″, it worked for my height. However it was a bit heavy for me. I am considering another lighter BV cross body bag in ink.
As a mature man I find that I don’t seem to give those looks a second glance anymore but really appreciate and find attractive the woman that can put herself together well whether casual or sophisticated and carries herself with class and confidence, as you do.

Compare this bag with the still very popular New Jackie and for sure the BV Crossbody bag is not big. The green color is different and actually is the “new” black. It goes with practically everything in the earth tones, with black (of course) and white right now. This bag is absolutely SNOB.
