Mulberry Hayden Tote

mulberry_hayden_tote.jpg

The July 4th holiday may have just come and gone, but it’s never too early to start thinking about the “back to school” fall season. And what better way to strut your stuff with a bit of style than with this tote from Mulberry’s new Hayden collection? At first glance this bag almost looks like it’s made from sweatshirt material, but upon closer examination it’s actually a new, and quite gorgeous, might I add, lambskin hue called Drizzle Plonge. Either way, I like it. It’s, in fact, one of three new colors for fall; the other two being shiny leopard and lemon lime. I always get a bit more practical for fall, so this tote, with its two rounded leather handles and hidden magnetic closure, is a non-flashy way to get the job done. The side belt straps enable widening–trust me, they come in handy–while stitch detailing is both luxe and a nice finishing touch.

$950, available at Mulberry boutiques and www.mulberry.com

  1. Hi, I got an Alexa in this same skin, it’s very soft and slouchy. I tend to carry my Alexa cross-body and this particular leather skin really moulds to the side of your body. Don’t mean to sound blasphemous but it’s almost as butter soft as the chanel lambskin bags.
