I am drawn to the chain-link strap, I called the trend last season and now it is everywhere. R & Y Augousti uses the current look very well on this simple tote, contrasting it with the metallic gold, which is always huge for Fall. There are few details on this bag and each is done to perfection – the center seam, the corner embellishments and of course, the contrasting chain strap. Chain link might seem uncomfortable on the shoulder but because the links bend and mold to you, it is actually not an issue at all. This flat shape holds quite a bit and it has plenty of interior pockets. I just wish this was closer to their usual lower price point, $800 would be an instant hit but at $1025, it is a harder sell. My next clutch purchase will be R&Y. They just knock it out of the park with their clutches. I love the unusual skins and texture combinations.
