Snob Essentials

Frankie Sanford in Alexander McQueen Demanta Skull-Embossed Tote

Given that I recently bought a McQueen skull clutch my timing isn’t the best, but I’m feeling over all these skulls – blame it on all the McQueen knock-offs! Don’t get me wrong though, I’m still happy I bought the clutch. The clutch works, in my opinion, because the skull is used in moderation and is such a sharp contrast to the lady-like silhouette of the bag, but the Demanta Skull-Embossed Tote ($1,165) is a bit overkill. I also think the shape of the Demanta works better as a clutch. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it a “slob,” but it’s definitely not my cup of tea.

What do you think about Sandford’s Demanta? Snob or Slob?

DO YOU LOVE IT OR HATE IT?

  1. Hi Sharon, I just got back from New York and Mcqueens fall collection has skulls all over the clothing. I am not a big skull fan but I loved all of his dresses. I will be buying alot of Mcqueen for fall and winter. The handbag is ok but it is very big.

  2. I like this bag, especially in the beige. Even though there are a lot of skulls I think they are not that noticeable because they are not in a contrasting colour or anything like that. Saying that I love skulls haha.
