My husband just complained, “You spend a bazillion dollars fixing your back and then another bazillion ruining it”. In all fairness, this is true. I have a chiropractor, orthopedic surgeon, physical therapist and acupuncturist on my payroll. And when they do their jobs, I run out and get shoes that I think I am able to wear now. But can you blame me, especially when looking at shoes like this? I have a similar pair of Jimmy Choo with purple eel, they are insanely beautiful but also cripplingly high (no platform so the pitch is very extreme). This has a 1/2 inch platform so the net rise is only 4 1/2 inches. I say only but it is still substantial. The lizard is so incredible with the entire Fall wardrobe, even if it is embossed. This is a shoe that will always be a staple so I can keep this in my closet until my back is fixed for good =) Exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue for $695.
