Above Kate Hudson is sporting the Louis Vuitton Monogram Antheia Hobo GM ($2,970), a bag that has also been spotted on Sienna Miller and Rachel Bilson. I’m not such a fan of this style and it strikes me as an uninspired version of the classic Gucci Large Horsebit Hobo. The colors this LV comes in – Olive and Fumee (smoky gray) – are also on the drab side and I can’t stand the monogram – even if it’s on lush lambskin! The only redeeming part of the monogram is that it’s embroidered with tonal versus contrasting thread. I also like the look and convenience of the long key holder.

Both. Snob because of the monogram. I like it because it’s not blatantly obvious.
Slob because I knew that it would look different on the body than in the picture. I like the picture better.
Agreed with the comment above! LOVE the (what looks like embossed) monogram– a nice change from the standard print.
But, the shape could be a little more innovative 😉
looks better on an actual person, than in the promo pic. not even a fan of the lv monogram usually, but i kinda like the drabness.
It looks great in person. The only issue I have with this bag is that there is no closure. Not even a magnet.
I prefer the bag in the Kate Hudson Pic. I like how the monogram looks like old fashioned textured wallpaper.
thank you for mentioning tonal vs contrasting thread! this stuff drives me crazy. it changes the bag in entirety. as does hardware choice of course, silver vs gold vs bronze, matte vs shiny, and pieces of hardware that mismatch slightly. this stuff drives me crazy.
