Invest in a great basic. Although I just went off on Prada on Bag Snob, they do make great shoes and they never veer that far off course. I love my ankle straps and I need booties for Fall, so this is perfection! It’s so basic, yet it has the ankle strap and peep-toe so it is unique. And in suede, although bad for bad weather, is way forgiving. This is the shoe you always go back to after searching your entire closet for something else and coming up short. Easy to wear, does not require too much thought but is fabulous no matter what. If only my entire wardrobe could function like this. At Barneys New York for $850.
