This is the last season the Fendi Peekaboo will be available to buy right off the shelf. After they sell through the current inventory the Peekaboo will be by custom order only. And with that a higher sticker price (about $800 more). You will be able to choose the leather or skin, stitching and lining. There is a custom engraved plaque on the inside with your name and serial number to identity that the bag was specially made just for you. Yes, we are all thinking the same thing. They are trying to make this like the Birkin by limiting the supply and driving up demand. It does make sense to offer customization since there are so many options and there never seems to be the exact one you want but I think they should still have some standard available for those who need instant gratification. So, if you can’t wait and don’t want to pay the higher price, you better get your hands on one now. The Fendi Peekaboo Mini is $1650 and the Medium Peekaboo is $2390 at Saks Fifth Avenue.
