Roberto Cavalli takes a walk on the (really) wild side

Okay, seriously, I am all for wearing things that are out there and that push the envelope, but I cannot think of one circumstance as to when I would wear this boot.

The calf hair thigh-high boots feature tiger print in front with giraffe print in back, which is a bold move. Mixing animal prints is tough enough, but mixing animal prints on over the knee spiked boots is wild, and not in a good way.

I do, however, love the 5 inch cone-shaped heel. Actually, I like the entire shape of the boot along with the light brown trim with the curved top. Unfortunately, the shape alone cannot win me over on this one.

I suppose if I was Gisele, with massively long tiny legs and I paired it with a very dark (or all black) outfit, there is a possibility that this could be pulled off if worn to the right event… like on a safari, or to a strip club.

But alas, I’m not married to Tom Brady, and my legs happen to be the shortest part of my body (damn you long torso) and I do not have any safari strip club trips planned. So realistically, these boots aren’t … well… realistic.

Would you dare wear the Tigeraffe boots? If so, where to?

  1. I like the wild taste tha Cavalli gives to his creations…But I don’t like these boots…They are too much “full” of everything, so volgar and so heavy!!
