So here’s the thing. I can’t decide if I am 100% for this funky and fun crochet dress Leighton Meester wore to the premiere of “Country Strong” in Nashville, or I if I just want to give it back to my grandmother, as someone clearly stole it from the back of her rocking chair.
The actress wore this dress from Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 collection and I adore everything about the top half. Black and nude? One Shoulder? Bow? Everything I love. But the crochet afghan as the skirt has me undecided. Of course Leighton looks gorgeous and can pull this unusual dress off, but do you hate it or love it?
The gold lining was lengthened from the runway version which made it more red-carpet-appropriate. The more I look at this, the more I like it. I just can’t look too closely at the skirt.
Just say no. I do think Julianne Moore looks better in that dress than the model. Hair should have been pulled up though. Julianne looks amazing
