Renée Zellweger in Prada Coco Clutch

While most women, regardless of height, like their evening bags small and rectangular, Renée Zellweger is quite the opposite. Her choice of bag for nights out is often long and flat. Witness the Hermès Kelly Cut clutch she swears by while out–often with Bradley Cooper; and now, there’s Prada’s tobacco-brown coco clutch she’s been spotted with in Manhattan. A continuing style from the house Miuccia founded, the genuine crocodile clutch is a pricy piece–but then again, bag prices have never been a problem for Renée (note the number of croc Hermès pieces she owns). I don’t think this long rectangular shape is for everyone, but I think it looks great on Renée. She’s not very tall but I think the way she dresses really complements the accessory. At the end of the day it’s quite practical. Not only does it store a lot, but it can also double as a weapon should you find yourself on the wrong side of the tracks.

Price upon request, available in select Prada stores.

  1. I don’t know, it still looks a bit too big to me but she does carry it off. I love the contrast between the red bag and the gray outfit though!

  2. Love a big clutch. I have this identical clutch from about 10 years ago (not Prada, thankfully no triangle on it!). And a black one with a buckle and oversize perferations. Love them! I never see anyone else with my bag when I use them!

Funny about the weapon! A client once told me it looked like it would hold a .38!

And agree on the hair…is it for a role or something? It is weird!
