Giuseppe Zanotti Crystal-Jeweled Suede Bootie: Slob or snob?

Okay, who let their kid get a hold of a glue gun and a craft box?

Just joking….sort of.

The thing is- I like looking at the Giuseppe Zanotti crystal-jeweled suede booties. They are fun, colorful and not to be taken too seriously (much like yours truly). Personally, I wouldn’t rock the bedazzled boots because, for those of you who know me, bedazzling gives me hives.

That being said, I can think of a few of my very closets friends who would wear these and look great in them paired with a long sleeved open back LBD and a glossy red clutch.

They would also be perfect for a holiday gathering (I know, I know I can’t help it- I am obsessed with holiday socializing). They would even be a great birthday shoe if you are looking for something that is different and would give you that extra “It’s my birthday, bitches” sparkle.

I’m sure these shoes are not for everyone so I am dying to know: Would you rock the jewels? Slob or snob?

Pick them up at Bergdorf’s for $1,295.00

DO YOU LOVE IT OR HATE IT?

  1. Slob. I do love a sparkly shoe, but the size and color of these stones make the shoe look really cheap. It looks like something you find at those tacky stores with too-tight animal print metallic polyester clothes and stripper shoes. Louboutin makes sparkly shoes that make my heart pitter patter and I’ve seen some pretty fabulous things from Giuseppe Zanotti, but these are a major fail.

  2. You are totally right about the festive season and birthdays. I quite like them but don’t think I’d ever wear them.

  3. I used to love Guiseppe but I am just not impressed with his current offerings. Most including the above just look cheap
