The moment I saw this Christopher Kane jacket I was reminded of a time in 1995 when I wore Renaissance-style shirts with lace trim and a cloth choker with a single pearl dangling from the center. I am so confused I don’t know even how to start talking about this. The jacket is essentially a biker jacket, with a sheer flowy skirt and bell sleeves. The fabric is a multi-colored galaxy print silk-chiffon, which is the last thing you would think of when you hear “biker jacket.” Personally I’m one to love unexpected fabrics, but I am undecided about my affection for this jacket. Paired with skinny leather pants, it could end up being a bad arse outfit, but I can’t get passed the image of the Renaissance shirt out of my head. What do you think? Slob or Snob?
