nOir's Limited Edition Gotham Ring

If you think about cocktail rings like I do – it’s go big or go home! Which explains why I’m a huge nOir devotee. Even by my larger than life standards however the Gotham ring ($225) is huge! Inspired by Batman’s Gotham, the ring is part of nOir collaboration with DC Comics for their 75th anniversary. I knew I had to have it as soon as I spotted this baby at the launch party for the collection. Not only is it possibly the biggest, most conversation-worthy piece of costume jewelry I’ve ever seen, but its got awesome details like cubic zirconia stone windows. The line’s designer, Leeora Catalan, is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and when she heard how much I loved her design she actually sent me the ring…I was beyond being on cloud-nine! It’s just such a fun piece and I can’t help but smile when I wear it. The one downside, as you might expect, is that it’s far from being practical (though it can double as a weapon if I’m ever attacked!), and I unfortunately can’t wear it while wearing gloves, but for me, it’s totally worth it:-)
