Victoria Beckham Hexagonal Chain Crocodile Bag

victoria_beckham_hexagonal_croc_bag.jpg

When Victoria Beckham debuted her bag collection, it was no surprise she borrowed inspiration from her faves – Hermes, Valextra, Chanel. No, there was no big emergence in original shape or design but you know what? Looking at this bag, I don’t really care, I just want to know how I can get my hands around one. This simple, classic matte crocodile flap bag with an interesting hexagonal-link chain is what I imagine she dreams about. And like a dream she does not need to consider cost or feasibility. It is available at Net-a-Porter for $13,950. She put a lot of thought into this from the subtle press stud hardware closure on the flap, to the 3 internal compartments, to the removable zip pouch. Only she can pull this off and actually sell a few of these.

  1. I’m not saying that it isn’t a beautiful bag–but I would prefer to blow my paycheck on a Chanel!!! They will remain a classic long after all of us are gone–

  2. I love Victoria Beckham and have ever since the spice girls when I was 9 (I have a Posh Spice doll!). This is a stunning bag. I love the simple design and the skin. Truly ladylike. Expensive but not to Posh and Becks I suppose. I love her style and think she will be a very notable designer in the future.

  3. I like the bag, but it’s a little boring. And, I don’t really like crocodile so even if money were no object, I would never buy it.

  4. I checked out the bag on Net-A-Porter and have to say I hate the other VB bag they have. It is so boring (although I do like the detail on the closure).

  5. I know that there are some people who are fabulously wealthy. And, I’m not saying if I were I would not spend more money than I do now. But, seriously – $13-14,000 on a bag? I could not justify that to myself.
