Alex Wang Open-Knit Sweater

I literally cannot get enough of bright colors right now. With all of this winter business going on, I need some spring in my life. Granted, it is semi-warm in Texas again, but I’m not going to bust out the sundresses. This Alexander Wang sweater is just what the doctor ordered. If said doctor were the most stylist doctor ever. Sure it’s open-knit, but that doesn’t mean you can’t layer layer layer for any extra chilly winter. The minty green just brings a smile to my face. The sleeves are two different lengths, which sets this sweater apart from any other “normal” sweater. I love the detail at the waist. A perfect transitional piece, too. I would color block the heck out of myself with this sweater on. What do you think? Slob or snob?

  1. I would have to see it on to properly judge, but so far, I am not liking this. The sweater looks a bit “mature” – it may be the combination of that color green, the looseness and the silver detail. The different sleeve lengths are interesting, but I wonder if it would look like I intentionally cut off a sleeve after a sweater thread-pulling accident. I own a number of Alexander Wang pieces, but I doubt I would add this to my wardrobe.

  2. I have to say- I LOVE this sweater! Def would want to try it on also before purchasing but I don’t find it mature at all!
