I’m just doing a little birthday shopping for myself. It’s my birthday this week, and it is a big one. Can’t tell you exactly but you can guess cuz you know it ain’t 30! I want something big and important – like uhh…. a new car, a vacation home, a one year membership to JetSuite or an exotic Chanel!! I have never seen a stingray Chanel, and I’m told there is only ONE of these in the country, which gives it additional importance and desirability. The placement of the skin is perfection, the only way Chanel knows how to do it, the tail portion with the degrade is centered above the clasp. Stingray already has a sparkling star-like quality so it is sheer brilliance to set jewels in to enhance the celestial feel. This bag will set me back though, I can fly a private jet to NY twice, or get this. Chanel in Boston had a few stingray bags a couple of months ago…including one no bigger than their wallet on a chain in the most gorgeous shade of purple…for the low price of $9,000. Oh well.

However, I think that I’d rather have a Range Rover. And a classic Chanel to go with it.
I don’t celebrate the b-day, and would never spend that kind of money even on a car (I hate buying cars…I get the cheapest possible), but if I was more fun and not such a cheap-skate, I’d be all over this bag…it’s beautiful!

It’s stunning! It kind of reminds me of the YSL La Sixeme that Kate Moss has, which I still covet. I also love any Chanel bag that eliminates that quilting (classic, I know, but not to my liking).
