New York City is my favorite place in the entire world, which should come as no shock to anyone that knows me. When it comes to New York fashion, one of the first names that comes to mind is Donna Karan. This also shouldn’t be a big shock. New York is ingrained in Donna and Donna is ingrained in New York. With classic lines and a strong presence, this python bag screams, “New York.” Well, it doesn’t literally talk, but go with me on this. Donna Karan recently introduced the New York bag. With wood handles and a python body, this bag lives up to its name. It will stand out in your closet and look even better while you’re strolling the streets of New York City. Don’t live in the Big Apple? Fear not my fellow Snobs. I promise you’re allowed to be chic outside of the City. Donna doesn’t discriminate.

It’s not that bad but I wish they used leather on the handles. What do the snobs, Kelly and Tina, think of this bag?
I love the skin on this and the draping of the front pocket. I dislike the wood handles. Being a native New Yorker, I always look for bags that are stylish and practical. A hand-held wood handle is, unfortunately, not practical.
@Pammy – while I agree the skin looks Italian-inspired, not sure about the wooden handles combination.
This is definitely a beautiful bag, but i do agree that the wood handle take away from it.
I think the wooden handles work with the colour of the skin.
I think this bag tries too hard -the python – the straps – the wooden handle – the gradient colours… to me it just screams “LOUD LOUD LOUD” -_-;
A plain leather bag would have worked better in my opinion even with the wood handles. But, generally speaking, I don’t like python. It just looks dark and muddy.
First off, this python + wooden handle combo is tacky. The skin actually looks cheap, and the handle looks like it’s fresh out of woodshop class. The silhouette however is quite lovely and elegantly chic as is synonymous with Donna Karan. Make this with an all leather handle and we’ve gotta home run hun!
I actually heard a cheetah scream and jungle noises when I saw this bag. Scary.
