Aside from one embellished evening clutch, Jason Wu’s fall handbag collection remained practical and functional. His classic shapes were reincarnated in a new color palette while a new version of his iconic doctor’s bag was unveiled. My favorite? A shrunken envelope clutch that bears his trademark owl on a circular hangtag; they’re fun, festive and functional. For evening there were great simple satin clutches that, once again, bore his company owl logo. Jason never deviates too far with his bags; I like that he keeps their aesthetics consistent season after season. It goes a long way to keeping his bags seasonless.
gets better each season. was not impressed last time. but these are very pretty.
