Tom Ford Lavender Palm – Beverly Hills Flagship Exclusive

TomFord_LavenderPalm.jpg

As has been the case with his other flagship openings, Tom Ford has chosen his Beverly Hills flagship, which makes its debut this official public debut this weekend and will feature his first-ever dedicated womenswear floor, to launch Tom Ford Lavender Palm, a fragrance Ford feels best evokes the image of California’s “sparkling sunlight, natural blossoms, and expansive coastlines.”

The fragrance opens with the interplay of two types of lavender: the bright, tonic flash of Lavandin and the concentrated herbal undertones of Lavender Absolute. Lemon and bergamot merge with clary sage for a lemony coastal blend reminiscent of Malibu while pink and white oleander and lime blossom lend an ethereal facet that is very Los Feliz. Olibanum and rich green moss texture the bottom note with addictive warmth that reveals itself slowly for a lasting experience.

Lavender Palm will be available at Ford’s Beverly Hills shop as a six-month exclusive before rolling out globally. To distinguish this scent from the rest of the Private Blend collection, and with a nod toward the West Coast aesthetic, Lavender Blend is housed in a chic metallic silver colored bottle and set-up box. A true collector’s item–how could you part with this bottle?–the 50 ml flacon boasts the sleek architectural look of a modern chess piece while the weightier 250ml decanter mimics the appearance of a polished steel sculpture.

$250 for 50ml, $950 for the 250ml decanter, both available exclusively at Tom Ford Beverly Hills, 346 North Rodeo Drive
