21 Drops: A 21st Century Approach to Health

I feel like I’ve forever sworn by homeopathy and have written on a number of occasions about some of my favorite remedies, Bach being chief among them. I recently came across 21 Drops which takes an innovative approach to the practice. Instead of applying drops of flower essences onto your tongue, you take one of their rubberized roll-ons (so convenient because I don’t have to worry about the bottle breaking in my bag), and apply therapeutic grade essential oils under your nose, to your temples, on your wrists or wherever it makes sense given the “ailment” you are trying to treat. Each of their 21 Drops comes with suggestions as to where applying it would be most effective.

The Drops tackle pretty much any day-to-day issue you can imagine — stress, PMS, headaches, bad moods, sadness, lack of energy…picking just one is pretty impossible (eeck that doesn’t sound good!). If you’re like me and can’t make up your mind, you can opt for one of their trio sets– I’m all about the 21st Century Survival Kit!

I know there are a lot of people out there who don’t believe in treating mild troubles with homeopathy and I definitely think that you need to believe in it for it to work (rolling some essences on your wrist as you roll your eyes won’t help anything!), but for me personally I’ve found tremendous power in combining Bach and 21 Drops when it comes to helping me deal with my every day stress. I close my eyes, take in the scents, the flavors, and breathe…it can do the body a lot of good!

*On a side note, the essential oils are lightly scented so no worries about them over-powering any fragrances you might be wearing.

  1. um, fyi-while sort of related, flower essences, like Bach, are not homeopathy, and therapeutic use (unlike for natural perfumery) of essential oils is aromatherapy and not either vibrational essence medicine (flower, gem, etc.) or homeopathy

  2. Bach drops are billed as homeopathic drops, but you’re right that 21 Drops are aromatherapy ones since they are all about the smell…I have only used them together and think they work great:)

  3. I’m personally a big believer in aromatherapy, especially if you keep an open mind to natural treatments 🙂 I’m not sure how I feel about the packaging though, it almost veers a little too tween-y?

  4. Not tween-y when you see the bottles individually (at least they don’t look that way to me!). The rubber is really a convenience thing more than anything so you don’t have to worry about the bottle breaking (as I often do with Bach). Would have been cool if they had coordinated the colors to the problem..ie when stressed used a calming color, when sad used an uplifting one..:)

  5. I don’t know if this helps or not with your worry-

I use to (for years) carry a small bottle of rescue remedy in the outer pocket of my daily cloth knapsack and I was pretty rough and tumble with it and it never broke or leaked.

  6. I carry mine around in a jewelry pouch:) Good to know that it never broke in your outer pocket though. What made you stop carrying it around? Did you find something better??
