Blake Lively in Chanel- Duh

After telling us she wasn’t going to attend the Chanel runway show (first we thought it was because she said it was “tacky” for celebs to attend but turns out it’s because “Gossip Girl” was filming), Blake Lively attended the private Chanel dinner honoring herself. Naturally, the booby blonde was wearing Chanel Spring 2009 Couture and my my did she look gorgeous. It sort of gets old saying that, but she did. Her hair was in a messy (signature) updo and her jewels were a brilliant pop of color. Lorraine Schwartz green emerald and yellow diamond to be exact. But I wasn’t particullarly drawn to what was above the shoulders as much as I was below. That. Dress. The bold shoulders. The chiffon and organza ruffles. The intricate fabric. Naturally I would love to be dripping in Chanel, but this Chanel dress is stunning. I’m sure I would look exponentially better in it than Blake does. Sarcasm level: one trillion.
