Converse Missoni High-Top Sneakers

The Converse is a shoe I would not normally – probably needless to say! – wear, but in the signature Missoni zig-zag knit pattern, this is a sneaker so shockingly chic that I snap up a pair each season. And actually wear them. The black laces and traditional white rubber sole pop against the print, and you don’t have to feel like you’re committing sacrilege by wearing sneakers because they’re, duh, Missoni! This is the boyfriend jean’s BFF. Wear them with an easy blazer, and you can be sporty-chic when you’re actually feeling lazy. The beauty of the athletic wear-designer marriage! They always sell out (thanks, in part, to yours truly), so it’s a good idea to preorder these kicks. At Saks Fifth Avenue for $200.

Pair with: When it comes to laid-back chic, Isabel Marant rules. Her “Gaynor” black twill blazer is just relaxed enough. Scrunch up the sleeves, lace up your high-tops, and you’re good to go. At Net-a-Porter for $540.

  1. I actually love chucks. They are great for when you don’t want to ruin your pretty shoes. And in a Missoni print, how could you resist!
