Pauric Sweeney Double-Handle Python-Panel Tote

Pauric Sweeney was off to such a strong start with his unusual, architectural creations, but this bag makes me wonder if the label will remain a one-hit wonder. While I love this new take on a tote (a cool, unique strap and gunmetal hardware), that enormous python panel is kind of gross – the odd, flashy square of pink metallic does not work with the khaki shade (in pebble leather) of the bag. I would have done it in contrasting colors, rather than a pairing that almost matches but really clashes. Pauric Sweeney, I am still waiting for an acceptable sequel to your debut round of awesome bags. Are you up for the challenge? At Neiman Marcus for $1490.
