Alexander Wang Wrap Front Cropped Pants: The Summer of the Skant?

Is it a pant or skirt? Perhaps a skort? Or even a kilt…Whatever Alexander Wang has whipped up for our lower halves, it’s relaxed summer wear with style to spare. Technically a half-skirt over cropped pants, so I guess I’ll call it a skant. (Never thought I’d like something called a “skant”!) Cinch the belt tight for a dressier skirt-like approach or leave it loose and flaunt your pant legs – either way this is the most modern take on pants I’ve seen in awhile.

This kind of summer bootie is fab if you have Heidi Klum’s legs. But if your gams are not of superhero proportions, strappy heels will elongate rather than stump them in a length like this. Keep things minimal and go for a soft fluid top for the full runway look.
