Eye creams are like husbands: they’re indispensable until you find the next good one. Kidding! What I mean is, I’ve loved the eye cream I’ve been using for awhile now – Fresh Ancienne Eye Cream – but it’s quite heavy and with summer approaching, I feel like it’s time to lighten up. But I was torn! I didn’t want to give up the much-needed benefits of full protection and potent anti-aging properties. Busy days, long nights, and forgetting my sunglasses too often have put my eyes through the ringer. It’s amazing how quickly those little lines can appear from just a few days of abuse and neglect.
I’ve always been a fan of Caudalie. Right from the grape and vine, their natural, anti-oxidant-rich ingredients have been sweet to my skin, and they never use the bad stuff (paraben, sulfates, synthetic dyes, petrochemical, phthalates, GMOs, triclosan). Light on ingredients and light to the touch, their Premier Cru cream is liquidy so a little goes a long way. And the results are almost instantaneous – three days into this product, the crow’s feet have softened and that delicate skin has plumped up. Revitalization! I’ll be using this day and night, especially with the onslaught of summer’s outdoor activities on the way. Looks like I’ll be keeping this one around for a while – I let the hubby put a ring on it, and now I’ll let Claudalie take the rings off! At Sephora for $95.
I LOOOOVE Caudalie products… the eye cream is great! But you are totally right… I have so many diff eye creams in my stash. Current fave though has got to be Cadualie and Yes to Cucumbers cause of the warming weather!
