Kre-at Beauty Luscious Lengths Lashes: Lashing Out

Luscious_Length_Lashes.png

If the makeup artist at the John Barrett salon couldn’t tell I was wearing fake lashes, then that’s a pretty good testament to my falsies. Luscious Lengths Lashes are great for length, while still looking natural. The telltale sign of fakes is how the ends of the lashes just stop suddenly, without any gradation. Luscious Lengths have a nice tapered end, and that’s the trick for that soft, real-lash look.

The only downside is the really stiff, uncomfortable band that is tricky to put on. It doesn’t countour to your eye so you have to curl it around the handle of a brush or pencil to get the right curve before applying; otherwise, you’ll get glue on your lids. And we all know that getting glue everywhere is an unrecoverable mess – the beginning of the end. So, if you can get past the gluing stage, they look long and lovely, and most importantly, real. But this isn’t for all day wear. After 10 hours of wear, I had to pull them off but that’s really pushing the limits of how long you should keep fakes on!! At Barneys New York for $16.
