Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging Serum: One Month Later

plantscription_anti_aging.jpg

When I took Origins up on their four-week Plantscription Anti-Aging Serum challenge, I fell in love a week after I’d started using it. After a month of use, I am officially hooked.

I have to admit the results after the first week were much more noticeable than the later weeks, as it started to be more gradual (kind of like when you’re losing weight – it seems to fly off at first, and then the remaining pounds are stubborn). But there was no way I was going to stop, for fear of the amazing results reversing.

My skin has definitely changed: I have always had dry skin on the surface and oily below, but this serum has somehow balanced my skin. It has optimized my moisturizer to give me incredibly dewy, nourished skin. It is because I’m regenerating new skin faster so the surface of my skin doesn’t have the dry, dead layer it used to, so it’s way more effective. It takes four-six weeks for skin to complete an entire cell cycle, so after a month, my skin’s texture has become smoother, thanks to new surface layer of baby-fresh skin. And those little lines in my cheek that used to appear when I smile really big (which is often!)? Gone forever, I hope!

  1. Kelly, when do you use this in your routine, morning or evening? And are you using a moisturizer after? I’ve tried the one week sample and saw a slight improvement, but it didn’t come with the most helpful instructions. Thanks!

  2. I used it both morning and night. And always with a moisturizer after. You must use a sunscreen during the day or you will not be giving this product a chance.
